Though it’s the new kid on the block, the Opia Cafe and Pizzeria is an experience in itself. With its fresh open design, warm inviting murals and scrumptious menu you’ll find yourself wanting to spend more than just your lunch break there! But wait! There’s MORE! Opia has newly launched their live Jazz nights (woohoo!) and so it is with great pleasure that I invite you all to Fri after work drinks (and if you’re feeling peckish, stay for dinner!), Fri 6 August 2010, 5 - 8:30pm, as Roman Pulati (guitar) and I help you celebrate the coming of the weekend.

Corridor

As the first months of the year melt away, and the change of colours and brisker mornings sneak into our days, we find ourselves asking “what am I going to get Mum for mother’s day?” I’d like to suggest a slight change from the normal flannelette pyjamas or bunch of flowers to say “Thanks for loving and putting up with me Mum!” … Come down to Corridor, 153 King St, Newtown, 4 - 7pm, for an afternoon of tapas, mojitos and live jazz! Of course it’s imperative to BYO mums, and dads are more than welcome to come along too!
